Here we are at the confluence of the Green River and the Colorado River overlook.
Bernell and I went on our annual Canyonlands trip with the Utah County Jeep Patrol, June 5th to the 8th. They set up this huge army tent and cooked fabulous breakfasts and dinners here.
When out on the road, they'd bring this heavy grill and make hot sandwiches for our lunch each day. This picture show him making a steak-and-everything sandwich.
We drove Elephant Hill which was very rough and steep. That's Bernell hanging his head out the window.
The drive through the Needles area is beautiful. Lots of wild flowers and flowering cactus.
The drive through here is so narrow we had to fold in our mirrors and take it very slow.
Check out the right wheel in this picture. He had to slowly ease it down so his truck wouldn't tip hard and hit the rock wall on the side.
An ambush just waiting to happen. Lots of squirt gun fights and lots of fun!
It was a great trip!
