I saw lots of life happenings through those old windows.
Watched the spring blossoms come out on the trees. Watched our then little girls swing and play in the backyard.
Watched them grow up out there.
The view out the front sometimes revealed our little girls riding their bikes, big wheels, roller skating, our Lynda pulling her little sister, Julie, in a wagon.
Even the annual neighborhood 4th of July parade was fun to watch going down the street.
Every morning I look out my bedroom window and love the sights of summer out the backyard.
.....little Becky watering the flowers....
....a family fun time clear back in '76....
......Allie and Becky's backyard celebration in 2001....
....the old backyard pool in 1972.......ahhh, yes, what a view, it was right below our bedroom window....
....and this year celebrating Bernell's 70th birthday.

Watching the fall is always beautiful. Fall 1976, Lori, Lynda, and Julie.
Fall of 1981 with another little sister, Becky.
Watching the first snow fall out the front window made an end to fall and brought the winter season in. Viewing winter from a window is my preferred way to spend winter. Burrrr.....
Watching Lori experience her first winter in 1968. The view out the back was of the old original peach trees left from an orchard.
Now I can watch my grandchildren play out in the backyard snow like Lori and Isaac are doing here.
This old pine tree is gone now.Can see out the front bedroom windows better.
........Wonder what I'm going to see through these new windows.

Yep, a lot has happened on both sides of the old windows the past four decades.
The new windows are definitely a much-needed improvement and look nice and will certainly be less drafty than the old ones this winter.
I love it when you post old pictures....I love to see the girls so little! I am sure you will love the new windows.
What a wonderful photo essay! Congratulations on the new windows. You'll really love them.
Those are some fun pictures, even though a few of me would have been fine left out (the ugly years ones).
LOVE seeing old photos. I have a lot of memories of all of us at those ages with the big bangs and "funny" clothes.
