North to Alaska

We're back from a fabulous cruise to Alaska. It was beautiful!!!
We enjoy cruising with our good friends, Beverly and Gary.
We went to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, cruised several glaciers and on to Anchorage.

The Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. Very cold there.
Another view of the Mendenhall Glacier.
Scenery was like a post card.

We took a sea plane ride over the mountains and saw a few glaciers from above. Fantastic!!!!
We landed in a lake and went to a lodge where salmon was cooked on an open pit BQ. The bears smelled it cooking and wanted some, too.
We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful state of Alaska and I'm ready to go back again. Loved it.

Met some fun people on the ship and ATE TOO MUCH! Well, that's what cruising's about.

That sounds like too much fun! You are always getting around....my parents finally went on their first cruise right during the swine flu outbreak and so they had to pass by a couple of stops because they wouldn't let the boat dock in Mexico. They were on the Panama Cruise and they absolutely loved it and are so anxious now for another one. I guess they spoil you on those boats. :) Miss you guys. Hope all is well.
